Industry veterans with a wicked sense of humor belying many years in the business of show

TNT co-founder, Monique Hurteau, is a multi-industry business expert with an MBA specializing in Management Consulting whose experience includes advising lawyers on deals ranging upwards to $75M to $3B and she’s member of the 2021-22 World Trade Centre Vancouver Advisory Committee.

In addition, Monique also has a wide array of industry-specific training in International Co-Productions, Business Affairs, Distribution as well as the Osgoode Certificate in Entertainment Law. Additionally, she’s acted as a mentor for the CMPA STAR Producer Program.

To add to her business chops, her varied skillset includes performing on stage, screen + podcasts too as a writer, director, interviewer, presenter, keynote speaker and (now lapsed) pro stand up comedian.

For TNT, Monique focuses on strategies for features, episodic, limited series with international partners.

TNT co-founder, Lorne Cardinal, is an award-winning, classically trained actor with over 100 professional credits and one of Canada’s most recognized actors.

And, he’s a skilled director of episodic TV + theatre and a member of the Director’s Guild of Canada and slated to direct a feature in 2023.

His keen eye for visuals was further honed in the darkroom where he learned techniques from experts who worked with the likes of Ansel Adams.

Lorne has the rare honor of having a new theatre named after him In 2022, Edmonton’s Roxy Theatre re-opened and launched The Lorne Cardinal Theatre within.

Aside from acting on the stage and directing, Lorne’s experienced as a dramaturg and lends his story consultant chops to a wide variety of projects for features, episodic and limited series as well.
